Turner Freeman Lawyers response to the latest Coronavirus (COVID-19) for our clients

A message for our clients – COVID-19

The partners and staff at Turner Freeman hope this blog message finds you and your loved ones healthy, and gradually adapting to the new normal of these unprecedented times facing the world.

The coronavirus pandemic is distressing for all, and we are especially mindful of our injured clients and our elderly clients who are vulnerable to the dangers of this disease.

While the coronavirus has impacted every part of our lives, it does not impact our singular commitment to you: To Do One Thing: What is Right for Our Clients. In the interest of public health and safety, we are preparing to transition our firm to work from home, either fully or largely so.  With our state of the art technology and the incredible commitment of our staff, we are continuing to move our cases forward, including advising persons new to the firm, who seek our advice as to their legal rights and our fee arrangements.

Courts may need to place on hold some Civil law trials, except in matters set for expedited hearings. So, trial dates may need to be postponed.  However, through tele-conferencing and communications technology, we can still move forward with new matters, case preparations, urgent applications, case analysis, research, mediations, etc. without compromising the safety of clients, staff, court reporters, experts, judges or opposing lawyers.

The impact of the coronavirus on the legal landscape is presently difficult to predict. But we will navigate these uncharted waters with the same heart and tenacity that you expect of any of us. We will adapt to these challenges and ensure that we continue the pursuit of justice for our clients, while never compromising safety.

We look forward to seeing you when it is finally safe to do so.

We are always here for you, so please feel free to call us or email with any questions or concerns.
