Supporting brain injury awareness week

To commemorate brain injury awareness, Synapse hosted an event at its Epping office last Friday during brain injury awareness week. The event was attended to by a variety of supporters, including Synapse clients, families and their carers. Turner Freeman Lawyers was invited to the event, as a major partner of Synapse, in the process of reconnecting the lives of those particularly at risk within the community; those affected by a brain injury. The theme for brain injury awareness week this year was Change.

The event was successful, with various topics covered including a heartfelt story shared by a young man who daily suffers with the challenges of a brain injury. It is clear that Synapse and its affiliated organisations perform an invaluable service within the community and they must be supported in every way possible.

If you or someone you know has been affected by a brain injury, we encourage you to visit the Synapse website for information and links. If you believe that you may have legal recourse, we encourage you to contact our lawyers at Turner Freeman who may be able to assist you. Our Sydney partner, Sally Gleeson, has a dedicated practice in assisting those who have suffered any type of brain injury by virtue of a negligent act.

We encourage you to call us on 13 43 63 to speak with one of our experts today.
