On 29 October 2016 staff from Turner Freeman Lawyers enjoyed a day on the track at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse for the annual Derby Day to raise much needed funds for the Asbestos Diseases Foundation of Australia (ADFA).

Raising funds for ADFA

ADFA is a not-for-profit community organisation that works to provide support to people living with asbestos related diseases, family members, carers and friends. They have a long history of being engaged in advocacy work in the hope of providing information as to the dangers of asbestos and reducing the future incidence of asbestos related disease in the Australian community.

As ADFA’s major sponsor, Turner Freeman Lawyers brought with them members from the Construction, Forestry, Mining and Energy Union (CFMU) and the Financial Sector Union (FSU) as well as a number of doctors, surgeons, chiropractors, past clients, family and friends in support of ADFA’s great work.

The day was a huge success and was enjoyed by all who attended.
