Agnieszka’s expertise

Agnieszka (known as Neish to her clients) joined Turner Freeman’s Perth personal injury team in early 2020.

For the past decade Neish has represented clients in workers’ compensation claims on both State and Commonwealth level as well as those injured in motor vehicle accidents or injured as a result a criminal event (criminal injuries compensation claims). Neish’s experience has been primarily focused on representing the worker/employee, however for a brief period Neish represented the employer/insurer.  This has provided her with a unique understanding regarding how insurers assess claims thus allowing her to maximize her client’s compensation payments.

Despite having worked both sides of the workers’ compensation process Neish has found a true passion for representing the those injured at work, in car accidents and those who have been a victim of criminal offences.  Neish is a familiar face at WorkCover Western Australia where she well regarded and respected not only by her clients but also her peers.  Whether it be recovering weekly wage payments, medical expenses or obtaining lump sum compensation by pursuing matters to Conciliation or Arbitration hearings at WorkCover WA, Neish is dedicated to ensuring her clients recovery the maximum level of compensation possible.

Neish prides herself in being approachable and providing easy to understand legal advice. Her empathetic approach allows her clients to feel supported and guided through what can be a the most challenging time of their lives due to the uncertainty and pain their injury has caused.

Turner Freeman covers the costs of disbursements (costs such as doctors reports which support a person’s claim) and acts on a “no win, no fee” basis thus providing Neish and her team an opportunity to ensure those who would not otherwise be able to access legal advice are appropriately represented.
