What it means to be an accredited specialist
- Accredited specialists must pass a series of meticulous assessments on both legal knowledge and its application in practice. To retain their accreditation specialists must undertake significant additional professional development in their area of expertise each year.
Jeanette previously worked for a preeminent law firm in London before moving to Australia to work for a leading national law firm on behalf of insurance firms. More recently she has been acting for plaintiffs and so she knows Compensation Law from both the client’s and the insurer’s perspective.
Jeanette was a SIRA appointed DRS Merit Reviewer until 2021, where she regularly determined disputes between injured persons and CTP insurers. She also has a long history of providing pro bono legal advice to Sydney’s homeless community.
