About the Opportunity
Turner Freeman Lawyers has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Receptionist / Mid Level Legal Secretary to join their team based in Perth.
In this role, you will provide excellent telephone skills with the ability to adapt to administrative duties requested from the Partner and Solicitors within the Perth office.
To be successful in this position you should have excellent presentation skills, good communication and organisational skills and possess a “can do” attitude and a willingness to work within a team with a friendly and positive demeanor.
Specifically your duties will include but not be limited to:-
The role is varied and to be successful you will have a strong desire to provide quality support and assistance to the Partner, Solicitors and staff. Your administrative duties include but are not limited to:
- Reception duties with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively and filter incoming telephone enquiries by taking detailed messages;
- Client liaison at front of house;
- Attending to all incoming and outgoing mail including collection of mail and hand deliveries;
- Assisting with legal secretarial work as directed;
- Outside service of documents;
- Monitoring stationary levels and consumables and placing orders as required; and
- Housekeeping and general administration duties.
Suitable candidates must have demonstrated experience of 2+ years as a Receptionist / Legal Secretary in a comparative legal role. It is imperative you have excellent computer skills particularly in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
You’ll be flexible in your approach to your workload, adapting to constantly changing and competing priorities, in what can be a high pressure environment. The ability to multi task to meet deadlines, a high attention to detail, as well as a positive attitude to both internal and external client service will also be essential to succeed in this role.
