About Kacey

Kacey Wuelfert is a Partner at Turner Freeman who manages the firm’s Perth office.

Kacey has been with the firm for over 14 years. In 2009 she transferred from our Brisbane office to open Turner Freeman’s first office in Western Australia.

Kacey obtained a Bachelor of Laws in 2002 from James Cook University in Queensland and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice in 2003 from Queensland University of Technology. She was admitted to practice as a legal practitioner in Queensland in July 2003 and has worked in asbestos claims since her admission. Kacey holds a Western Australian Practicing Certificate and is a member of the Law Society of Western Australia and the Australian Plaintiff Lawyers Association.

Kacey has acted on behalf of hundreds of individuals in a variety of asbestos claims across many courts and jurisdictions in Australia including the Western Australian District and Supreme Courts, New South Wales Dust Diseases Tribunal, Queensland District and Supreme Courts and the Commonwealth Administrative Appeals Tribunal. Kacey also handles asbestos claims filed with workers’ compensation bodies in Western Australia, Queensland, New South Wales as well as Commonwealth schemes including veterans’ entitlements.
