We are seeking a professional and welcoming Receptionist to join Turner Freeman in Sydney. This is a full-time position based at our office in Sydney NSW 2000. As Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and callers, playing a crucial role in creating a positive first impression and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role is essential to our business, as you will be responsible for managing the reception area with efficiency, professionalism, and warmth whilst supporting the wider team.
What you’ll be doing
- Greeting and welcoming clients and visitors to the office
- Answering incoming calls and transferring them to the correct staff members, or taking messages as required
- Managing reception desk operations, including scheduling appointments and maintaining the appointment calendar
- Managing reception area tidiness and ensuring a professional environment
- Answering queries and providing information to clients about services, opening hours, and general enquiries
- Supporting other administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience working in a reception or front-of-house role, preferably in a professional services environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reception management software
- A professional appearance and demeanour with a friendly and helpful attitude
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
- Reliable and punctual with a commitment to attendance
