Turner Freeman is seeking a Lawyer with 2+ years of post-qualification experience to join our dynamic legal team. This is a full-time position based in our Toronto, NSW office. As a Lawyer, you will play a crucial role in providing expert legal advice and services in property law matters, with a focus on estate and wills This position offers the opportunity to develop your expertise whilst working alongside experienced legal professionals in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice on property law matters, including residential and commercial property transactions
- Prepare and review legal documentation, contracts, and agreements related to property matters
- A focus on Estate and probate matters
- Maintain accurate file management and ensure compliance with legal practice standards and regulatory requirements
- Support senior lawyers and contribute to the overall success of the property law team
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in property law
- Demonstrated expertise in property conveyancing, transactions and related matters
- Strong knowledge of property law principles, legislation and regulatory requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly
- Proficiency in legal research and the ability to identify relevant case law and statutory provisions
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters concurrently
- Professional and ethical approach to legal practice and client confidentiality
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Experience with legal practice management systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Current practising certificate or equivalent professional qualification recognised in Australia
