Gambling Community Benefit Fund grants

Nearly 500 local community organisations across Queensland will share in more than $10 million thanks to the latest round of the Gambling Community Benefit Fund grants.

Attorney-General Justice Bleijie said the Gambling Community Benefit Fund received money from taxes on Golden Casket lotteries, wagering, keno and gaming machines.

Some of the community groups successful in this round include the McDowall State School Parents and Citizens Association, the Surfers Paradise Rowing Club, and Ausline Cattle Association.
