Georgina Kay

• Georgina (Nina) is an Associate and has worked exclusively in the area of compensation law working in a team alongside other highly skilled practitioners.
• Nina obtained her Bachelor of Laws locally at the Toowoomba campus of the University of Southern Queensland and is admitted in the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia.

• Nina first joined Turner Freeman in October 2015 as a Law Clerk in our Toowoomba office. Nina then moved over to our Ipswich office in March 2017 and was admitted to practice as a Lawyer in August 2017.  As of August 2021, Nina relocated back to Toowoomba to assist with our thriving Toowoomba office.

• Nina has a passion for assisting injured claimants in workers’ compensation matters, motor vehicle accidents, public liability claims and total and permanent disability claims.  Nina has experience working with high complex claims, claims involving NIISQ and with catastrophic injuries.

• As an integral part of our Toowoomba office, Nina assists clients located in the Toowoomba region and beyond, including but not limited to all regions of the Darling Downs, Lockyer Valley, Southern Downs, Western Downs and Maranoa with all aspects of their compensation law claims.

• Nina is passionate about Toowoomba and regional Queensland and outside of work, Nina enjoys spending time with her young family, exploring Toowoomba and discovering the ever growing local coffee and food scene in the Darling Downs.

• Nina graduated from the University of Southern Queensland with a Bachelor of Laws and subsequently completed a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice through the College of Law.
