Lucie's Expertise
Lucie is a Senior Associate in Turner Freeman’s Newcastle office, practising across personal injury law with a particular interest in medical and healthcare law, and medical negligence claims.
Before becoming a lawyer, Lucie worked as a Registered Nurse across hospital wards, operating theatres and aged care facilities. Her nursing experience gives her a strong understanding of clinical environments and healthcare, which she draws on when working with clients and navigating the medical issues involved in their matters.
Lucie also has a particular interest in healthcare ethics. She is a committee member and ethics reviewer for the Hunter New England Local Health District Human Research Ethics Committee, where she contributes to the ethical review of health and medical research.
