We have a position available for an experienced Personal Injury Lawyer to join our newly established and growing Tweed Heads office. The ideal candidate will have experience across all general personal injury work types and be able to conduct a full file load efficiently and effectively. Your work will be supervised by a Senior Associate, and you will be a part of a supportive team.
The role will enable you the opportunity to use your existing skills and develop your expertise and skill set by assisting the team to pursue a variety of personal injury claims under the supervision of an experienced Senior Associate and supervising Partner.

The successful applicant will have a minimum of 2 years’ post admission practice as a Personal Injury Lawyer with a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations of the following areas of law.
- Public Liability, Workers Compensation (State and Federal), Motor Vehicle claims, Third party and first party TPD, income protection and life insurance claims;
- Providing expert legal advice and representation to clients on a range of personal injury matters;
- Preparing and managing case files, including gathering evidence, conducting legal research, and drafting correspondence and legal documents;
- Negotiating settlements and representing clients in court proceedings;
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, medical professionals, and other stakeholders; and
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of our personal injury practice and sharing knowledge with the broader team.
You must have:
- A current Practising Certificate;
- Confident interpersonal skills when dealing with all manner of clients, third parties and our team;
- Self-motivated with a high level of initiative
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex information clearly;
- Proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to achieving optimal client outcomes;
- Highly organised with strong time management and the ability to prioritise a diverse caseload.
