Turner Freeman Lawyers is a well established national law firm with a long history of providing quality legal services and delivering excellent outcomes for our clients. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Law Graduate to join our Tweed Heads team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent law graduate or final year law student nearing admission to commence their legal career in a supportive and professional environment.
About the Role
Working closely with an experienced partner, you will gain exposure to a broad range of legal matters and have the opportunity to develop your legal skills through hands on experience.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting solicitors with file management and case preparation
- Legal research and drafting correspondence
- Preparing court and tribunal documents
- Liaising with clients, experts and other stakeholders
- Attending client appointments and conferences
- Supporting the team with administrative and legal tasks as require
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Hold a Bachelor of Laws (or be in your final semester of study)
- Be eligible for admission, or intending to seek admission in the near future
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate attention to detail and sound organisational skills
- Possess strong time management abilities
- Be proactive, professional and eager to learn
- Have a genuine interest in developing a long term legal career
