Rachel's Expertise

Rachel is a Lawyer in Turner Freeman’s Parramatta office, practising in Wills and Estates law, with experience in estate planning, estate administration and estate litigation.

She assists individuals, families and business owners with a broad range of estate planning matters, including the preparation of Wills, testamentary trusts, business succession planning, Enduring Powers of Attorney, Appointments of Enduring Guardian, Memoranda of Wishes and self-managed superannuation fund (SMSF) estate planning.

Rachel has experience preparing both standard Wills and more complex Wills incorporating Testamentary Discretionary Trusts, Special Disability Trusts and rights of occupation. She also assists with reviewing business, trust and SMSF structures as part of comprehensive estate planning strategies, with a focus on succession planning, asset protection and the effective transfer of wealth to future generations.

Her estate administration experience includes preparing straightforward and complex uncontested probate applications and assisting with the administration of deceased estates.

Rachel also represents clients in contested estate matters, including family provision claims (also known as unfair Wills claims), contested probate applications and disputes concerning the validity of Wills, including challenges based on a lack of testamentary capacity.
