Teresa's expertise

Teresa assists in the areas of dust diseases claims, public liability, superannuation claims, workers compensation and industrial deafness.

Teresa graduated from the University of South Australia with Bachelor of Laws (Honours). She was admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia in 2022 and works as a Senior Associate at Turner Freeman. She is based in our Adelaide office and travels to see clients when required.

Teresa has acted for clients in various workers compensation disputes under the Return to Work Act 2014 (SA), including claims for medical expenses, income support and permanent impairment compensation. Her experience includes assisting in instructing counsel in trials and appeal decisions, including the appeal decision of Sweeney v Return to Work Corporation of South Australia [2023] SAET 100.

Teresa understands that the legal process can be daunting and she is committed to ensuring that her clients feel supported throughout the entire process. Teresa is an avid advocate for her client and strives to achieve the best outcome for everyone that she represents.
