Asbestos morning tea with clients and ADRI

Turner Freeman hosted the Asbestos Diseases Research Institute (ADRI) open day and morning tea on 9 June 2017.

The only institute in Australia dedicated to asbestos disease research

Armando Gardiman, managing partner of Turner Freeman Lawyers, introduced the open day which was also attended by Ann-Maree Pascoli and Fiona Seaton of Turner Freeman Lawyers.

Professor Ken Takahasahi, director of ADRI, gave a presentation on the current work of ADRI and Professor Glen Reid, assistant director of ADRI discussed the current approved clinical trial in relation to the treatment of mesothelioma.

Jocelyn McLean, Patient Coordinator at ADRI, met with guests over morning tea.

ADRI exists as a consequence of the submission prepared by Turner Freeman, promoted by the Asbestos Diseases Foundation of Australia and various trade unions in NSW, and adopted by the NSW Government in 2004.

ADRI is now the leading research institution in Australia in the field of asbestos diseases and is the only institute in Australia dedicated to asbestos disease research.

Turner Freeman regularly conducts walk throughs and morning teas at ADRI.
