Armando Gardiman receives the Order of Australia at Government House
On the 8th of April 2016, Managing Partner Armando Gardiman received the Order of Australia at Government House in Sydney. The Order of Australia is the principal and most prestigious means of recognising members of the Australian community who have made outstanding contributions to benefit their communities and country.
Armando has been dedicated to assisting people with asbestos related diseases for the last thirty years and has been responsible for major legislative reforms in New South Wales. He has also been actively involved in the football community of his local area. Armando was honoured in recognition for his significant service to the law and to the community, through the provision of legal advice to asbestos disease research institutions and to football. Armando was presented with the Order by the Chief Justice of NSW, the Honourable Mr T.F. Bathurst AC. Armando was deeply humbled to receive the order. It was a very proud moment for him, his family and the firm.
