Turner Freeman Lawyers Cairns office takes part of a charity walk

Supporting our local community

On May 16 2017 members from our Cairns office in Queensland took part in the Queensland Legal Walk. The Queensland Legal Walk (formerly known as the Walk for Justice) is a 5 km walk held each year in May and is aimed to raise over $200,000 to support the most disadvantaged in our community – those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, young people transitioning from state care, people with mental illness, refugees and self-represented litigants.

Over 1,000 lawyers from all over Queensland took part in the walk. Queensland Public Interest Law Clearing House (QPILCH) has organised the event, which is now in its 10th year.
