Turner Freeman Partner has been appointed to the 9 person Advisory Committee to the National Asbestos Management Review by the Minister for Workplace Relations, Senator Chris Evans.

The Commonwealth Government announced that the review will assess current activities in the area of asbestos management and research, and make recommendations for the development of a national strategic plan to improve asbestos awareness, management and removal.

The review will form the basis for the government’s policy on asbestos management, which, along with medical research and treatment is a key element of reducing the future impact of asbestos disease in the community.
