Our lawyer admission to the Supreme Court

Turner Freeman Lawyers congratulates staff member on his admission as Solicitor to the Supreme Court of Queensland.

David is a graduate of the Queensland University of Technology having undertaken a double degree in Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Information Technology. Since undertaking his Practical Legal Training at the College of Law, David has worked at Turner Freeman Lawyers since 2009. David came to us with well rounded experience gained at the Magistrates Court, Supreme Court and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

David is working as a compensation lawyer and is experienced in statutory and common law claims in all Australian jurisdictions. He is passionate about representing injured workers and their families. David has settled numerous claims and also run successful matters at trial and appeal. Outside of work, David’s interest include fundraising for charities and road cycling which has seen him embark on epic rides at home and overseas.

David is closely associated with Smiling for Smiddy, a charity that raises money and awareness for people living with cancer. Smiling for Smiddy honours the memory of Adam Smiddy, who passed away to an aggressive melanoma cancer in 2006 aged just 26. David often takes part in many of the Smiling for Smiddy cycling and triathlon events throughout the year.

“Congratulations to David for his hard work and dedication, we are pleased to have him as a part of our growing team of experts.”
