Turner Freeman Lawyers is a national law firm with a proud history of more than 70 years. We have a long trade union tradition and have been a leading firm in Australian dust disease litigation. Due to continued growth in our employment, industrial and personal injury departments, we are seeking a full time Client Services Administration Assistant to join our Brisbane office.

We are looking for someone with excellent listening skills, strong communication abilities, solid organisational capability, and an enthusiastic, team focused attitude. The ideal candidate will be friendly, dependable, proactive, and able to think outside the box to achieve the best outcomes.

Previous office experience is highly regarded. This role requires initiative, motivation, and the ability to take ownership of responsibilities.

Law students nearing completion of their studies who possess confident interpersonal skills are also encouraged to apply, as this role can serve as an excellent stepping stone in your legal career.

Key Responsibilities 

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Answering, screening, and transferring incoming calls, and responding to or redirecting queries to the appropriate staff member. The ability to take detailed and accurate messages is essential for a high volume of calls;
  • Demonstrate a professional phone manner and strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on rapport building and empathy;
  • Apply previous customer service experience to actively manage client relationships, resolve complaints, or escalate issues as necessary;
  • Provide high‑level customer service, ensuring accuracy in data entry and billing, and supporting proactive diary management.
  • Data management – Maintain and update client records and databases; and
  • Assisting with general administrative tasks and overflow work as required.

Salary is consistent with similar positions within the Award market.
