We are currently looking for a motivated and organised Legal Assistant to join our Parramatta office and become a key part of our friendly team. Supporting a Partner in our Police Compensation team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive the care and service they deserve, while keeping his practice running smoothly behind the scenes.
What You Will Be Doing
- Provide day-to-day support to our legal team, including diary and file management
- Liaise with clients and external parties with empathy and professionalism
- Draft, format, and amend legal documents and correspondence
- Provide mentorship and training to junior members of the team
- Coordinate the flow of documents and medical reports
What We Are Looking For
You’ll bring a proactive approach and a genuine desire to help others. Ideally, you will also have:
- Experience in a legal assistant or secretary role (preferably in workers comp or personal injury)
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Fast and accurate typing
- Great phone manner and written communication
- The ability to juggle priorities and work independently
- Strong attention to detail and a team-focused mind-set
