Workplace injury claims

If you have been injured at work, you are entitled to workers’ compensation. Different claims and entitlements may be available to you, and this is dependent on your specific circumstances.

Depending on your situation, you may be able to make a workers’ compensation claim, or, in some cases, a work injury damages claim.

Turner Freeman’s workplace injury lawyers can talk you through what happened, explain what you may be entitled to, and help you work out the next steps.

Your options after a workplace injury

The type of claim that may be available to you depends on the circumstances of your workplace injury.

Workers’ compensation claims

If you are injured or become ill because of your work, workers’ compensation may provide financial support while you recover. This can include payments for lost wages, medical and rehabilitation expenses, and in some cases a lump sum payment for permanent impairment.

Work injury damages claims

In some circumstances, you may also be able to make a work injury damages claim if your injuries arose from the negligence of your employer. A work injury damages claim includes amounts for pain and suffering, past and future lost income, and past and future medical expenses.

Not sure which option applies to you?

You do not need to know what type of claim you have before getting in touch.

Every workplace injury is different. We can talk you through what happened, explain what may apply to your situation, and help you work out what to do next.

No Win, No Fee

We offer No Win, No Fee for eligible compensation claims, so you do not pay our professional fees or outlays unless your claim is successful. Conditions apply.
