Sean is based at the Parramatta office and specialises in employment and industrial relations law. He joined Turner Freeman in 2020 as Special Counsel, after leading the national and New South Wales legal practice for the AMWU, one of Australia’s largest trade unions. Prior to this, he attended Sydney Law School and was an Associate to Deputy President Sams, a senior member of the Fair Work Commission.
He acts for unions, union members and other individual clients in respect of unfair dismissals, adverse action claims, underpayment claims, bargaining related matters and industrial disputation.
He has experience litigating in a number of courts and tribunals, including the Fair Work Commission, the Industrial Relations Commission of New South Wales, the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, the Federal Court of Australia and the High Court of Australia.
