David has practiced as a lawyer in South Australia and in the Northern Territory since December 1977.
He as provided legal services to people from all walks of life, from individuals, and Community Groups through to large corporate clients and government departments.

David joined Turner Freeman in December 2020 after operating his own legal firm for 19 years and prior to that practicing as a partner in first tier legal firm Minter Ellison.
David practiced in the area of general insurance claims for many years providing advice to both claimants and insurers in complex insurance matters. He regularly contributed papers to insurance discussion groups and conducted many hypotheticals at numerous insurance conferences.
David has successfully represented workers, exempt employers and claims agents in Workers Compensation matters since the early 1980’s in both South Australia and the Northern Territory.

This area of practice requires a lawyer to be sensitive to the needs of clients and a willingness to listen. Providing assistance to families in estate planning and administering estates has been a core part of David’s practice for many years.
